With over 40 years of experience in the great sport of fly fishing, there is nothing we enjoy more than introducing beginners to this great sport.  Smoky Mountains Fly Fishing School's educational courses are second-to-none and can be enjoyed by all. Fly fishing has stood the test of time by being an outdoor activity anyone can enjoy for a lifetime. We also teach the ancient sport of Tenkara.

 

Full day fly fishing instruction...includes basic entomology related to our trout streams, basic fly casting instructions, knots, and rigging instructions;  all taught streamside with several hours of guided fishing time.
